SSWB one month short term Spine Fellowship

 

Spine Socity of West Bengal invites application for one month short term spine Fellowship 2026

 

Eligibility criteria for the candidate

  • Must have MCI / State Medical Council registration and have either one or more of the following qualification (s) -- MS Ortho/DNB Ortho/MCh Neurosurgery/DNB Neurosurgery/FRCS/D.Ortho.
  • Must have demonstrated interest in spine surgery (attended spine courses/meetings, having presentations, publications related to spine surgery, etc)
  • SSWB membership is a must before starting the fellowship -- he need not be a member at the time of application.

Program Features

  • Selection based on CV and credentials
  • Fellowship starts from 1st March 2026 till 31st March 2026.
  • It is a 30 days program and candidate will spend 10 days each on 3 different centers From
  • Allocated Centers:--Apollo Hospital Kolkata, Kothari Medical Center and Institute of Neurosciences(INK) : 10 days rotation each centre.
  • There will be two(2) fellwoship vacancy this time.
  • Opportunities for both research and clinical exposure in spinal surgery
  • Course stipend will be ₹ 45,000 on completing 30 days program.
  • Certificate to be handed over in SSWB Annual Conference – SSWBCON 2026.
  • Last date of application is 31st January 2026 and date of interview is 1st February 2026
  • The final decision on selection is the sole decision of the president of SSWB.
  • All necessary expenses including accommodation and travel during fellowship will be borne by the candidate himself.
  • This fellowship is supported by CIPLA Pharmaceuticals.
